Biography
A Genitourinary Medical Oncologist at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Alicia Morgans serves as the Medical Director of the Survivorship Program. She is an experienced clinician and researcher with knowledge of patient-reported outcomes, clinical trials, and incorporating patient preferences and beliefs into therapeutic decision-making. Her studies have looked into the skeletal, cardiovascular, diabetic, and cognitive side effects of systemic therapy for prostate cancer survivors.
Dr Morgans is a member of the cardio-oncology committee of the American Heart Association. From 2016, Dr Morgans has been President of the Medical Advisory Board for ZERO, a non-profit organisation which supports education and funding for prostate cancer research.
