Biography
Dr. Amit Bhan is a leading Consultant Cardiologist at Barts Heart Centre and an Honorary Consultant Cardiologist at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children. He graduated from St. Bartholomew’s and The Royal London Medical School (Queen Mary and Westfield University) and earned his MD(Res) degree from King's College London. Dr. Bhan completed his specialist registrar training in cardiology at various hospitals in the South-East and London, and his subspecialty training in congenital heart disease at The Royal Brompton, Guy's and St Thomas', and Great Ormond Street Hospitals. Following his training, he undertook a fellowship in Catheter Intervention for Structural and Congenital Heart Disease at Barts Heart Centre, where he has been a consultant since 2017.
As an expert in interventional cardiology, Dr. Amit Bhan has a particular focus on treating congenital heart diseases. He is also actively engaged in clinical research, co-authoring numerous publications in the field of interventional cardiology.
