Dr Andréia Biolo attended the School of Medicine of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS).
Since 2013, she is an adjunct professor at the UFRGS School of Medicine, in the Department of Internal Medicine, working in the disciplines of Semiology and Medical Clinic I. She works with research lines with experimental models of cardiac hypertrophy, with translational studies exploring mechanisms of development and progression. heart failure, especially those involving microRNAs and their targets, and with clinical studies in heart failure patients.
Dr Biolo is also the coordinator of the Postgraduate Course in Cadiology and Cardiovascular Sciences at UFRGS since 2015.
