Dr. Anil Saxena is currently the Director of Cardiology at Fortis Escorts Heart Institute in New Delhi, India. His research interests include heart palpitations, patients with pacemakers and implantable cardioverter-defibrillators, heart failure and coronary heart disease.
Dr. Saxena holds an MD from GSVM Medical College and a DNB from National Board of Examination in New Dehli. He has received specialised training in Cardiac Electrophysiology at St Luke Hospital in Wisconsin, USA. He is also President of the Indian Heart Rhythm Society.
He is an experienced instructor, having provided multiple workshops for doctors across the globe, giving demonstrations of innovations in electrophysiological techniques. Dr. Saxena has also achieved a number of awards, including the Nagarik Samman award, the Dr. O P Goel Memorial Oration award and the Shri G L Raturi Oration Award.
