Dr Bruna Gigante is a Senior Lecturer in epidemiology at the Karolinska Institute in Solna, Sweden. Her main research focus is to define clinical and molecular profiles associated with cardiovascular disease risk, in particular myocardial infarction and stroke.
Dr Gigante gained her MD at the Federico II University in Naples, Italy in 1994, and went on to have a specialist competence in cardiology at the same institution in 1998. In 2006, she achieved her PhD in Experimental and Clinical Medicine.
