Dr Chris J Kapelios received his MD with distinction from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in 2010 and completed his Ph.D. on myocardial ischemia-reperfusion injury in 2016.
Dr Kapelios is currently a cardiology fellow in Laiko General Hospital in Athens, Greece and a senior student in the Executive MSc Health Economics, Outcomes and Management in Cardiovascular Sciences in the London School of Economics.
Dr Kapelios's research interest focuses primarily on heart failure and cardiovascular imaging, topics on which he has published to date more than 45 articles in high-esteemed, peer-reviewed journals.
