Dr Christopher Zeitz is the Head of Department of the Cardiology Unit at the University of Adelaide, Adelaide Medical School; and Central Adelaide Local Health Network, Adelaide, Australia.
For his education, Dr Zeitz studied at the university of Adelaide. He received his MBBS in 1988, and his PhD in 1999. He is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of Physicians.
In 2019, Dr Zeitz received the South Australian of the Year Award from the Australian of the Year awards. He also received the Variety Club From the Heart Award from Variety SA in 2018.
Dr Zeitz's research interests include coronary heart disease and acute coronary syndrome management, particularly among indigenous patients.
