Dagva Mungunchimeg

Dagva Mungunchimeg, MD, FESC, FJCS is a Professor of Cardiology at the Shastin Central Hospital, Ulaanbaatar, and Head of the National Cardiovascular Center in Mongolia (2012 - Present). She is President of the Mongolian Society of Cardiologists (2016-Present), and a member of the Board of Directors at the International Society of Cardiovascular Pharmacotherapy. She served as the Vice President for Zone 1 of the Asian Pacific Society of Cardiology (2019-2021), and Vice President of the Asian Cardiology Society (2019-2021). Professor Mungunchimeg graduated from the Russian Medical University in Moscow in 1994 and completed her cardiology fellowship at the Russian Medical University in Irkutsk (1996-1998), She studied molecular biology at the Mongolian National University of Medical Science (2001-2002) and received advanced echocardiography training in Luxembourg (2003-2004).
