Biography
Dr. Dike Ojji, a distinguished medical professional, completed his foundational medical education at the University of Ibadan, Nigeria's premier university. His pursuit of excellence continued with postgraduate training in Internal Medicine and Cardiology at the University College Hospital, Ibadan, and the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, Brisbane, Australia.
A highly esteemed fellow, Dr. Ojji holds memberships with the West African College of Physicians, American College of Physicians, European Society of Cardiology, and Nigerian Cardiac Society. His academic journey includes earning a PhD in Cardiovascular Medicine from the University of Cape Town, South Africa.
Currently serving as faculty at the College of Health Sciences of the University of Abuja, Dr. Ojji is also an Honorary Consultant Physician/Cardiologist at the University of Abuja Teaching Hospital in Gwagwalada, Abuja, Nigeria.
Dr. Ojji's professional focus encompasses the pharmacotherapy of hypertension, the spectrum of hypertensive heart disease, and hypertensive heart failure in native Africans. His significant contributions to the field are reflected in over 66 manuscripts published in peer-reviewed journals, including prestigious publications such as NEJM, JAMA, Lancet, Eur Heart J, and Eur J Heart Fail.
