Dr Farshad Forouzandeh is an interventional cardiologist and associate professor of medicine at Case Western Reserve University.
Academic History
Dr Forouzandeh attended the Tehran University of Medical Sciences School of Medicine and graduated in 2005. In 2006, he got his MS in experimental medicine and in 2009, followed by a PhD in experimental medicine both from the University of British Columbia.2
He completed his internal medicine residency (2009 - 2012) at Methodist Hospital, Houston. He then pursued two fellowships at Emory University School of Medicine: one in interventional cardiology (2016 - 2017) and the in cardiovascular disease (2012 - 2016).2
His clinical and research activities are focused on advanced cardiovascular interventions and vascular biology.3
