Biography

Dr John Sapp is the Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiologist at the Queen Elizabeth II Health Sciences Centre in Halifax, Canada. At Dalhousie University, Dr Sapp is the Assistant Dean of Clinical Research and Professor of Medicine. At the same institution, he is also cross-appointed to the Department of Physiology and Biophysics. He has previously served as President of the Canadian Heart Rhythm Society and is currently Co-Chair of the Dalhousie Cardiac Research Excellence Wave.

Dr Sapp’s research interests include improving cardiac mapping, methods for reducing sudden death, the role of catheter ablation for ischemic ventricular tachycardia, and clinical management of ventricular arrhythmias.
