Dr Martin Maresch is a Senior Consultant Vascular & Endovascular Surgeon at Bahrain Defence Force - Royal Medical Services Hospital, Bahrain. Established fully functioning Vascular Centre from the scratch, able to co-ordiante the team to push for the best outcome. Special interest in Medical Education, Reaserch and Teaching recently within RCSI Bahrain.
Senior Consultant of Vascular & Endovascular Surgery with over 20 years of experience in the field of Vascular Disorders. Comprehensive training in Europe provides expertise in full range treatment of arterial, venous and lymphatic diseases. Fellow of European Board in Vascular Surgery. Covering all complex reconstructions- open, endo and hybrid: EVAR, TEVAR, thoraco/abdominal open reconstructions, over 500 Carotid procedures, CLI revascularizations (SAFARI, pedal arch procedures, CERAB, hybrid), Diabetic Foot and Amputation Prevention Centre, management of Trauma cases in hybrid OT, Venous procedures- acute (Angiojet, Aspirex, CDTL) and chronic DVT (recanalization, IVUS, stenting, endophlebectomy) management, over 1000 endovenous procedurs, management of lymphedema (LVA), Hemodialysis Access management (creation, US monitoring, open, endo), experienced in Trauma in Onco Surgery and Kidney Transplant.

Specialist Interests
Complex aortic interventions, integrated treatment for critical limb ischemia and the diabetic foot, and venous procedures for acute and chronic deep vein thrombosis and chronic venous insufficiency.
