Masatsugu Hori

Masatsugu Hori is President Elect of the International Society for Heart Research (ISHR). He is also President of Osaka Medical Centre for Cancer and Cardiovascular Diseases, a position he has held since 2008; previously, he was a Professor of Medicine and Chairman of the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine at Osaka University. He serves as a Board Director or President for several major cardiology societies in Japan, and is also Chairperson of the Annual Meeting of Japanese Circulation Society in 2009 andthe ISHR World Congress in 2010.
