In 2001, Dr Soliman received his Bachelor of Medicine degree from the Ain-Shams University in Cairo, Egypt. He completed his internship at Ain Shams University Hospital, Cairo, Egypt. Following this, he pursued his residency in cardiovascular medicine at Al-Salam Specialized Hospitals, Cairo (2003 - 2005). He then completed fellowships in cardiology in Cairo at the National Heart Institute of Egypt (2007 - 2010) and the Moh Hospital (2005 - 2007).1, 2

Before joining the Cleveland Clinic, he served as an advanced heart failure specialist at the Ministry of Health of Kuwait, Dabbous Cardiac Centre. He also worked as a senior specialist in cardiovascular medicine with a special interest in non-invasive cardiology at Doctor Soliman Fakeeh Hospital in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.2
