Nina Barnett

Prof Nina Barnett was a Consultant Pharmacist in care of older people at London North West Hospital and Visiting Professor at Kingston University London, UK, with over 25 years’ experience. She delivered outstanding medicines-related coaching, mentoring and education using a person-centred approach. Her areas of expertise as a consultant pharmacist in care of older people included polypharmacy, deprescribing, multi-morbidity and shared decision making. Prof Nina Barnett was an invited speaker and frequently published in leading journals. She contributed at a strategic national level for example, with National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) and with leading clinicians in the UK.
