Dr Sarah Godfrey, MD, MPH is a cardiovascular disease and hospice and palliative medicine fellow at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She grew up in New Jersey, studied African and African American Studies at Harvard University, and then did the majority of her medical training at Columbia University (postbac program, medical school, MPH, and internal medicine residency). Her research focus is in palliative cardiology and quality of life in patients with advanced cardiovascular disease.
