Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology (ESC), ESC Grants and Research Committee member, ESC Council on Stroke Scientific Documents Committee member, Deputy Editor for Europace EP Journal, Section Editor for Thrombosis and Haemostasis. Chair of the 2020 ESC Guidelines on the diagnosis and management of atrial fibrillation. Published over 280 full papers in international peer-reviewed scientific journals, participates in various international research projects, including the Horizon 2020 AFFECT-EU, AFFIRMO and EHRA-PATHS projects.
Both clinical and scientific work has been directed mainly towards cardiac arrhythmias, clinical electrophysiology and, particularly, atrial fibrillation.
Dr Tatjana Potpara is a member of the editorial board for AER Journal.
