Biography
Dr Timir Paul is an Associate Professor of Medicine at East Tennessee State University, TN. He received his MD from Dhaka Medical College, Bangladesh, then was awarded PhD and MPH in cardiovascular epidemiology and biostatistics by Tulane University, New Orleans. He pursued cardiovascular disease fellowship and interventional cardiology fellowship at Ochsner Clinic, New Orleans and University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill.
He is currently Director of Interventional Cardiology, Associate Program Director of Cardiology Fellowship and Junior Clerkship Director at Quillen College of Medicine. He is a full time interventional cardiologist and perform coronary interventions via radial artery and complex coronary interventions with haemodynamic supports. He also performs endovascular interventions for peripheral arterial diseases and transcatheter aortic valve replacement procedures.
