Professor Yunlong Xia is President of the Cardio-Oncology Committee of the Chinese Society of Cardiology (CSC). He is also Professor of Cardiology at First Affiliated Hospital, Dalian Medical University, Dalian, China. He is a member of the American Rhythmic Society (FHRS), and a fellow of the Europen Society of Cardiology (FESC).
Prof Xia is Vice Chairman of the Youth Committee of Chinese Association of Cardiac Pacing and Electrophysiology, the Youth Committee of Heart Failure Branch of Chinese Medical Doctor Association and the Liaoning Medical Association Cardiology Branch. His specialities include the research on the mechanism of atrial arrhythmias, catheter ablation treatment, ventricular hypertrophy and ventricular fibrosis, as well as the basic and clinical early warning research on the occurrence of ventricular malignant arrhythmias in heart failure.
