Prof Zlatko Fras holds the position of Medical Director, Division of Internal Medicine, University Medical Centre Ljubljana, and Professor of Internal Medicine, Medical Faculty, University of Ljubljana.
His clinical professional activities encompass different aspects in cardiovascular medicine, while his scientific work focuses mainly on epidemiology and preventive cardiology, research of atherosclerosis and disorders of lipid metabolism, and physiology/pharmacology of fibrinolysis and physical activity.
