About CIRSE

The Annual Congress of the Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiological Society of Europe (CIRSE) is the biggest and most longstanding interventional congress in Europe. Since its beginning in 1985 it has become the leading platform for medical professionals with an interest and expertise in interventional radciology wishing to increase and share their knowledge on image-guided minimally invasive therapies.

CIRSE 2019 will be held in Barcelona, Spain, from September 7 - 11, 2019.

What you can expect

CIRSE Congress features more than 250 hours of education and science spread out over 4.5 days. The programme is streamlined along the dedicated topic tracks arterial interventions, venous interventions, aortic interventions, interventional oncology, non-vascular interventions, embolisation, neurointerventions and IR management. 

Delegates can enjoy many different session formats including Focus Sessions, Fundamental Courses, Expert Round Tables, Case-Based Discussions, Video Learning Sessions, Free Paper Sessions and much more. The congress also includes numerous Hands-on-Device Trainings, partly as part of the meeting's CME programme and partly delivered in the learning centres organised by CIRSE's corporate partners.
