Dr PJ Devereaux, Director of Cardiology, McMaster University, Ontario

The focus of Prof Devereux’s clinic research is vascular complications around the time of surgery. He is undertaking several large international RCTs and observational studies addressing this issue. He has published more than 250 peer reviewed papers and over 50 book chapters and editorials.

 

Dr John Eikelboom, Associate Professor, Division of Hematology & Thromboembolism, McMaster University, Ontario

Dr Eikelboom’s current research focuses on variable response to antiplatelet therapy, antithrombotic therapy in atrial fibrillation, and mechanisms and prognosis of bleeding. He has published more than 150 peer-reviewed papers.
