Khaldoun G Tarakji
Chief Medical Officer
Khaldoun Tarakji, MD, is the Chief Medical Officer VP Clinical Research and Medical Science of the Cardiac Ablation Solutions (CAS) Operating Unit (OU) at Medtronic.
Before joining Medtronic, Khaldoun was the Associate Section Head of Cardiac Electrophysiology in the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine, Heart, Vascular & Thoracic Institute at Cleveland Clinic.
He has led numerous national and international clinical trials and has authored or co-authored 140 original articles in top scientific journals, including NEJM, JAMA, JACC and others.
Devi Nair
Director of Cardiac Electrophysiology
Dr Devi Nair is a cardiologist and the Director of Cardiac Electrophysiology at St Bernard's Heart and Vascular Center in Arkansas, US. She also holds the position of Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. As an international leader in cardiac rhythm management, Dr Nair specialises in cardiac devices and cardiac ablation therapy.
Dr Nair has made significant contributions to the field through her numerous publications in leading international medical journals. Her extensive medical training began at the University of Kerala, India, followed by residencies at Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons and St Luke's Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York, US. She further honed her expertise with fellowships at Case Western Reserve University, US.
Gaurang Gandhi
Electrophysiologist
Dr Gaurang Gandhi is an Electrophysiologist at TriHealth Heart & Vascular Institute, Ohio, US.
Over the past 15 years, he has treated adults with cardiovascular disease, with a specialised focus on arrhythmia and other forms of irregular heartbeats.
Dr Gandhi assesses and manages patients with various heart conditions, including arrhythmias such as SVT, VT, atrial flutter and atrial fibrillation, as well as concerns like the risk of sudden cardiac death, heart failure and fainting (syncope).
