Robert Cubeddu

Cardiologist

Dr Robert Cubeddu is President at NCH Rooney Heart Institute, Florida, US and is board-certified in Cardiovascular Medicine and Interventional Cardiology, with advanced sub-specialty training in Structural Heart Disease.
 
Dr Cubeddu founded a comprehensive, high-volume premier regional centre of referral in Structural Heart including percutaneous transcatheter valves therapies (TAVR, TMVR, Mitraclip, Valvuloplasty, PVL closure), congenital heart disease interventions (ASD, VSD, PDA, TPVR), and stroke reduction therapies (i.e., LAAC/Watchman and PFO closure). He actively participates as a member of SCAI, ACC and the editorial board of several high-impact peer-review journals.

Dee Dee Wang

Dee Dee Wang

Clinical Professor of Medicine

Dr Dee Dee Wang is a Clinical Professor of Medicine at Wayne State University School of Medicine, Michigan, US. She is the first Interventional Imaging Physician inducted as a Fellow of the Society of Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions. In her early career, she has intraprocedurally guided over 1,500 transcatheter interventions.

Dr Wang is an Interventional Imaging Physician specializing in peri and intraprocedural guidance of catheter based structural and valvular heart disease interventions. Her research interests include advancing patient safety and procedural outcomes utilizing 3D and 4D imaging for Structural Heart Interventions.

Viviana Navas

Viviana Navas

Section Head of Heart Failure and Director of the Cardiology Fellowship Program

Dr Viviana Navas, M.D is the section head of heart failure and director of the Cardiology Fellowship Program, at the Naples Heart Institute, NCH.

Dr Navas served as Regional Director for Heart Failure, she started the Heart Transplant and mechanical Circulatory support program at the Cleveland Clinic Florida in 2014 and was the medical director until 2021.

Dr Navas went to medical school in la Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogota, Colombia, did internal Medicine Residency and Cardiology fellowship in Cleveland Clinic Florida and finished Advanced Heart Failure and Heart Transplant fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio.

Dr Navas’ main interests are advancing the field of heart failure and education, she is very involved with the residency and fellowship programs and every year she participates as speaker in multiple national and international meetings.
