By optimising the cardiac status of patients with cancer before, during and after their treatment, IC-OS is collectively improving the overall outcomes including survival and quality of life. IC-OS aims to provide the latest scientific and clinical education and research for anyone treating patients with cancer in the hopes of enhancing cardiovascular protection.

Hetan C Shah

Hetan C Shah

Dr Hetan C Shah is an Interventional Cardiologist and Professor of Cardiology at Seth GS Medical College and King Edward Memorial Hospital in Mumbai, IN. With 24 years of service at Jaslok Hospital & Research Centre, she has extensive experience in Complex Coronary Interventions and Structural Heart Interventions.

Dr Shah is a recognised expert in female heart disease and serves as a Cardio Obstetric Consultant at Maternity Wadia Hospital. As a PG teacher, DM, and DNB Cardiology Examiner, she is also an Inspector for the Heart Transplant Program.

A US Board Certified (IC-OS) Cardio Oncologist, Dr Shah is associated with Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, where she applies her expertise in cardio-oncology. Since 2006, she has been a faculty member in the Master Teaching Academy Program at Jaslok Hospital & Research Centre.

Joe Carver

Joe Carver

Dr Joe Carver is the Bernard Fishman Clinical Professor of Medicine at the Abramson Cancer Center of the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, US. He is the Chief of Staff at the Abramson Cancer Center.

He is the Director of the Thalheimer Cardio-oncology Center at the Abramson Cancer Center and his clinical practice is in the subspecialty of cardio-oncology.
