Outstanding... Excellent!

Being interviewed by Ankur Kalra for this episode #8 was a terrific experience! It was such an easy conversation (kudos to Ankur's interview style!) that we didn't realize how quickly time passed us by. This is an important topic and something I passionately believe in. Diversity, inclusion, bias and how they all tie into leadership is relevant for all of us. Responding to negative feedback and failure in a positive way is crucial to progress. We also talked about the wisdom of letting go and getting ahead. Thanks for the opportunity to ai my views, Ankur! Best wishes for future episodes!

Excellent podcast

A friend told me about this podcast and I am hooked to it. It’s great to know about the person behind the great researches which are ongoing and how they have achieved the great landmark in their professional life. The other tidbits about managing personal life and how to be more effective tips are something which I am trying to imbibe in my personal life. Although, I am a resident interested in Cardiology. This podcast is great even for anybody in the field of medicine.

Fun to hear, motivates me to learn and be curious

Really enjoyed the episode with Dr. Kleiman. Good questions and I like Dr. Kleimans approach to his thought process. Motivating podcast, would suggest to have a cardiology fellow and/or resident on the show for an episode to get that perspective of medicine as well.

Rana Younis

After discovering Dr. Kalra’s podcasts..I must say he’s an exceptionally kind and generous doctor. I've learned a lot from just listening to his ideologies, taking notes about how he’s handled your life and career, and great talks on mentorship. What stood out most to me was how Dr. Kalra talks about the Gita in the context of Dharma and Karma, especially how we can apply it in medicine. Gita always reminds us that our work is to do the job without intending to receive results. Things that are not in our control should not take up space in our thinking and doing. I am thankful for the important teachings, they’ve been inspirational. I continue to look forward to listening and learning from this fantastic podcast, Parallax.
